Tampa Early College Academy (TECA) is excited to welcome its inaugural class of scholars in Fall 2027. As a tuition-free public charter school, TECA is designed to provide students with a rigorous academic experience and a clear pathway toward college success.
Through our innovative Early College model, scholars will have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while working toward up to two years of college credit, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.

How to Apply
Simple Steps to Become a TECA Scholar
Applying to Tampa Early College Academy is easy.
Step 1: Complete the Interest Survey
Families are encouraged to submit an interest survey to receive important updates regarding enrollment, admissions events, and school information.
Step 2: Submit an Enrollment Application
When enrollment officially opens, families can complete and submit the online enrollment application.
Step 3: Provide Required Documentation
Applicants may be required to submit supporting documents such as proof of residency, birth certificate, immunization records, and previous school records.
Step 4: Enrollment Confirmation
Once applications have been reviewed, families will receive confirmation and next-step information from the admissions team.
Step 5: Welcome to TECA
Accepted scholars and families will participate in orientation and onboarding activities before the start of the school year.
