Enrollment
Tampa Early College Academy will open in the Fall of 2025. TECA will utilize a 6th through 12th grade Early College Model while embracing the Early College High School Initiative to give scholars an opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and two full years of college credit by the end of the 12th grade.
Tampa Early College Academy's first year of enrollment will begin with 6th and 7th grade middle school scholars to develop a strong, college-going culture in preparation for the early college experience. Utilizing this model, TECA will follow a slow roll out process over the next five years. In the Fall of 2025, TECA will enroll 6th grade and 7th grade scholars. In the following years, TECA will increase enrollment each year by adding an additional four classes of 6th grade scholars.
